what's fresh

It should be peak season, but the drought and extreme heat have taken their toll on local farms.  The US Drought Monitor has calssified Cleveland and areas west as "Abnormally Dry".  Even with irrigation systems in place, several days with heat indexes well above 100°F have caused crops to wither in the fields.  As a result, the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables at our Market is greatly diminished.  We appreciate your understanding and continued patronage, and hope that our product shortage is only temporary.

At the present time, we have a limited selection of beets, cucumbers, cut flowers, green beans, honey, okra, onions, peas, pepper (hot & sweet), potatoes (red, white and yellow), radishes, sweet potatoes, s, honey, onions (white & red), potatoes (red, white & yellow), radishes, squash, sweetpotatoes, turnips, baked goods, granola, homemade pimento cheese, handmade soaps and quality crafts.

Rock Bottom Farm and Veng Chang Farm still offer beautiful cut flowers, including striking zinnias that are sure to brighten anyone's day!

Sweeten your day with local honey, available from several vendors including Loyd Lewis and Derrell Pearson.

Break out the loaf bread and Duke's mayonnaise. Vine-ripened tomatoes are everyone's summertime favorites. Choose from several varieties, including heirloom Cherokee Purple & German Johnson.
